Keeping Our Eye On The Bouncing Ball.
Times are tumultuous. Money's tight, if non-existent for most people. Dismal records are being set daily. And, while many investment vehicles continue to exist, people are wondering where to pull their money from before it reaches "Zero Worth" and then they are asking where they should or could put their hard-earned dollars. Nest eggs are moving toward bottom. What do I do? Where do I go? Even investment Icons are falling. corporate and personal. Perhaps the best advice as net worth bounces from one low to another is to keep your eye on the bouncing ball.

Investing Is A Long-Term Game, Or At Least It Should Be.
We make and retain money over significant periods of time. Short-term moves often lead to lessening wealth, not increasing it. There are some silver clouds, but if you think they'll be easy to find or that some guru will make you instantly rich, you've been dreaming and stalling just too long. There simply is no silver bullet. That means you, personally, must do your due diligence. That's research into every database, website or opportunity you may find. It is not easy, but the process will make you smarter and better prepared to take advantage of opportunities now and in the future. Motivators have long preached that to be successful you need to surround yourself with your own team of experts or Your Personal Board of Directors. Not a bad idea.

Who are the five or six opinion leaders you've come to rely on for financial and investment know-how? If you don't have a Personal Board, maybe you could consider founding and seating one. If you do have an informal Board, take another look at who you are relying on. Also, ask who, if any, of these people have your interest, and not only their own, at heart.
