The Recent 2008 West Valley REALTORŪ Expo Was Really A Winning Event! We recently attended the West Valley REALTORŪ Expo in Glendale at the Glendale Civic Center. The highly successful event was presented by the West Maricopa County Association of RealtorsŪ. Themed "Winning The Game," the event was open free to the public. We estimated a couple of thousand people attended the Expo where WeMAR members and affiliates presented information in a hundred booths designed to tell industry members and the general public about the state of real estate in today's more-than-challenged market. I figured the tone of the event would be somewhat guarded, maybe even somber, and that the annual Expo would not draw many exhibitors.

Boy, Was I Wrong! The Event Was Packed With People And Exhibitor Booths. There Was Electricity In The Air! It was like an indoor sporting event where the attendees were pumped and highly excited about the experience. People were animated and sharing information one with another. You had to talk loudly to be heard over the roar. What a rush! Boy, just because some say the industry is on the rocks doesn't mean West Valley realtors believe it. I thought "Nobody must have told these ladies and gentlemen." Deals were being done. Everyone was jumping into the event. The "hall was hopping." You couldn't help but be caught up in the excitement. The air was filled with energy. The excitement was electric.

I Can't quit talking about this excitement-filled event and the very enthused folk who attended and "manned and womaned" the many great exhibits. You couldn't just sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and environment. You had to jump up and get into the spirit of the Expo!
