Check'em Out Is Sound Advice To Today's Real Estate Investor.
And, that advice applies to lenders, builders, property managers and anyone in the food chain doing business in any aspect of the real estate industry. It just makes good sense in today's economy. The Adage, "You Can Never Do Enough Research," applies today in a big and important way. If you feel any reluctance in a deal, go to the proven, seasoned experts for advice. And, don't forget the Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE). The Department recently released a Consumer Alert advising home buyers and/or investors to check out builders on the ADRE's website: www.azre.gov. They track the financial health and well-being of builders.

There Are Some Tried And True Ways To Help You Find Out About A Deal Or A Person Or Company/Organization With Whom You Are Working.
First, get some references AND CHECK them out! Too often we get references, but don't take the next step to check them out. How long has the firm/organization been in business? New does not automatically mean you are dealing with a bad company, but longevity and proven ability are often keys to success. Don't get rushed into signing anything or making a quick decision. If it's a sound deal, it probably will be there tomorrow. Check it out. Take your time. Don't rush into anything. Does the organization have a series of set or established procedures to complete a deal? A professional company will have a set of proven processes to purchasing a home. The process is important. Does it look too simple, too quick, too easy? Well, then, maybe it is.

Even If You Are Shown The Home, Never Put Any Money Down Until You Check Further.
Some scams even go as far as showing a home and then trying to get money from you. Processes and Procedures are very important. They demonstrate the professionalism of the people with whom you are working. Check out the deal and the people. If it walks and quacks like a duck, it still may be a wolf in sheep's clothing.
